If I went on a killing spree and the end goal was a large body count, I would do it slowly and methodically, using various weapons based on the situation. Not all would be guns. The DC sniper comes to mind as someone who took his time and struck terror into the area. Had he not been caught he would have killed a lot of people over time. These idiots who rush in guns blazing are doing it all wrong.

Its actually classified as a class 2 destructive device and requires a NFA $200 tax stamp and all the paperwork and background checks that go along with that. I wish I had never sold mine, even though it was a bit clunky and had to be wound up like an old clock to operate.

A Saiga 12 is a good alternative.

Hmm, didn't know it's being exported to the USA.

It requires NFA registraion so it's the same as owning a machine gun, short-barrel rifle, or short barrel-shotgun. Sure you can have a sawed off shotgun and probably buy one in a parking lot somewhere. But getting caught with one without the NFA tax stamp will get you 2 to 10 years in federal prison and up to a $100,000 fine.

The kind of people that would own something like that without the proper registration are usually the kind that are already familiar with prison.
