It's real. Apparently it's entirely possible to toilet train a cat.

suesheboy 02-01-2013 05:01 PM

Yes. My ex trained the cat to do that. Problem is the cat never understood the difference between a toilet and the bathtub.

are you house broken yet ?

NALEM 02-01-2013 05:40 PM

The placement of the litter/sand box on top of the toilet, gets the cats accustomed to visiting the bathroom and specifically jumping on top of the toilet seat.

Eventually some people switch out the regular box for something more shallow placed below the seat itself, or they place a cardboard panel there sprinkled with litter/sand.

As the cat focuses on balancing themselves on the seat itself, the shallow box or cardboard panel is completely removed.

looking to adopt me franck?

Some Guy 02-01-2013 05:41 PM

Cats suck but for some reason if I ever turn queer and get one I'm totally toilet training it. Much better than having a smelly-ass litter box.

what happens if water splash back up and hit the cat in the ass, would it scare them and then they piss all over the seat ? :1orglaugh

I trained two of my cats to use the commode like that.

It's a step-by-step process that involves placing the litter box beside the toilet and then raising it up incrementally until it's at the level of the toilet seat. After that, you set a plastic container (with litter) inside the toilet. Not long after, your cat will be shitting on the commode like a champ. :thumbsup

SpaceDoc 02-01-2013 11:40 PM

that is hilarious

Supz 02-01-2013 11:41 PM

Cats should shit outside. Mine do.

Slick 02-02-2013 12:37 PM

Here's the full clip, there's actually a few videos on Youtube, my daughter happened to discover them a while back and laughs at them, ha ha. I'd just be worried about how sanitary is it to share a toilet seat with a cat.

crockett 02-02-2013 04:50 PM

I read somewhere that these people trained their cat to use the toilet but also to flush it. The problem was the cat decided it was fun to flush the toilet and kept doing it all the time..
