fuck amerinoc

Few years ago I hosted with amerinoc many sites.Total daily traffic was about 200k
About 9 months bought amerinoc server all went great no major issues until one day when from unknown reasons the server keep crashing due to 100% cpu usage.
I sent few tickets asking for help and followed the advices to keeping my scripts, applications and modules up to date. Which i actually did but unfortunetly the cpu issues continues over and over again. Almoust daily my server keep crashing due to high cpu ussage, sometimes 6-7 times per day and the only message to my tickets were they already restarted the server and everything is allright now.
There were days when I had times off when sql server was down over 2 days ,Over 2 days all my sites hosted here were down and nobody fixed them at all!
During four weeks they were unable to locate the cpu usage problem and fix it.. professionals in Amerinoc its joke. Got so many complaints from my members i can even count them due to server inactivity and this morning i`ve been warn by my processor because of the websites inactivity too!!!!!

Jakke PNG 02-05-2013 12:16 AM

That happened to me too. Turned out I was an asshat and had implemented a script wrong which caused the server overload.

mamaliga 02-05-2013 12:18 AM

After half an hour after the server was restarted now it happens again. All fucking sites are dead again with
SQL Error
An error occured with the SQL server:
:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Jakke PNG 02-05-2013 12:49 AM

I don't suppose you have some script doing obscene amounts of Sql queries or something?

sandman! 02-05-2013 01:02 AM

thats not possible problems are always the webhosting companies fault!

This is not a problem with the IPS Community Suite but rather with your SQL server. Please contact your host and copy the message shown above.

no:(
It`s almoust 1 AM and having my server 7 hours unavailable (with 4 minutes exception when it was online).
The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Have you tried using mysqltunner:
https://github.com/rackerhacker/MySQLTuner-perl

Usage
http://kb.mediatemple.net/questions/...+MySQLTuner#gs
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3...nges-to-my-cnf

It will help you configure mysql easily...

Also add this to my.conf

Code:

log = /var/log/mysqld.log
log-error = /var/log/mysqld.error.log

And execute
Code:

touch /var/log/mysqld.log
touch /var/log/mysqld.error.log

This will log mysql problems in those files.
You could also enable slow sql query log...

MrGusMuller 02-05-2013 10:22 AM

pgmorin 02-05-2013 02:12 PM

well after 12 minutes my server was back online and they did reply to the ticket in 2 minutes. ok it shouldnt have been down in the first place but a least they have a good support team.

Viper2K1 02-05-2013 02:17 PM

We had a similar issue a couple months ago.
There might be a conflict between one of your crons and their cron for maintenance scripts.
The cron to run log rotation runs at 00:00
directadmin has some issues with large log files, that if it can't process such large log within 1 minute, it starts all over again the next minute and can cause things to hang

Do you have one of your own crons running at that time? If so, try to delay it with 10 minutes.

Webair has come along way folks, all you trolls can talk your shit but this company has made a ton of progress? For instance:

- Webair FusionCloud: The fastest, most reliable cloud on the internet: http://www.webair.com/webhosting-dedicated-fusion.html

- Webair LOAD BALANCED CLOUD SERVICES provide maximum horizontal scalability for unlimited growth. Webair couples the proven reliability of redundant physical load balancing hardware with the dynamic power of cloud computing. - http://www.webair.com/load-balanced-cloud-servers.html

- Webair Hybrid Cloud - Webair's Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure provides all the power of the cloud with the flexibility of dedicated physical infrastructure. - http://www.webair.com/solutions-hybrid-cloud.html

And Introducing ProtoCloud! Our latest release - Webair's ProtoCloud is an Infrastructure as a Service cloud solution with a powerful service management console that enables you to focus on your business. - http://www.webair.com/webhosting-protocloud.html

I know your going to bring up issues we have had in the past, but if you review every one of them you will see that they most likely had a positive outcome, not to mention 99% of them are small virtual accounts that require a lot of . Whatever the case may be, that was then this is now. This company has grown in leaps and bounds above the competition, don't believe me? I'll prove it to you....

Hit me up ill give you 2 free months on any of our cloud offers (excluding fusion cloud). I personally reserve the right to decide not to work with you if i don't like you, so if youre going to be a dick please move on, Ive already wasted enough of my day writing this long drawn out post.

If you like the services we provide for you, stay on board and we will beat what you are paying now, you don't like it walk...

See you in Phoenix.....

woj 02-05-2013 04:04 PM

9 out of 10 times it's a software issue... your script(s) is most likely running poorly optimized queries overloading your sql server... moving to a different host most likely will not solve the issue, you need a software engineer familiar with mysql to check it out first... :2 cents:

If you are willing to invest a few bucks, I can look into it for you, icq: 33375924 or email me at woj#at#wojfun#.#com to discuss details...
