I guess when you are 72 you need a gun. My friend woke up one night when a burglar was sneaking around. He beat the crap out of him... and got a warning by the police lol

Wrong, property can be insured, your life can't be. Deadly force is used when your life is in danger.

I'm all for self defense... But was life really in danger? Could he have fired a warning shot instead of killing someone?

I mean... If you break into my house, I will shoot you. I have zero problems with that. But if I could avoid killing someone, I would.
