How much do you pay for blog posts?
 

If I wanted to buy blog posts with unique titles and descriptions how much am I looking at?

I would need the content from a particular sponsor used - pics and/or vids.

How does this work and what the costs?

Depends on the blogger.

If I like the guys blogs and his writing I pay up to $5 per post. If I am writing them myself I usually pay about $2 - $4 depending on if I like their network.

I have paid as much as $25 for a post on low Alexa ranked blogs before where I was not just paying for the plug for SEO wise, I was also paying for the fact that my post made me a few sales. Kind of made me wonder why the guy wanted me posting really. Then again, he gets content and people pay him to give it to him.

I meant someone to write posts for my blogs - I give them an author account and they submit posts with my ref urls etc.

I can give you a few ideas of what I charge if that will help.

For a basic text only post where you have me look at a gallery/pic etc and write a post it will be between $2-$4 per post depending on how long you want the post to be. A good rule of thumb is $1 per 100 words.

If you need me to add pictures or video, crop pics or touch pics up and insert them into the posts or add links, keywords etc to the posts in the blog itself it will be more. How much more would depend on what all you had me doing. For example one client I have has me take two pictures, crop them and do some very basic touch up then write a 250-300 word post for it, put the pics in the post, link the pics and link a few keywords and I charge them $10 per post for that.

On your blog I might charge $5 a post with pic if the pic is simple to get. $6 if I have to screen grab it from a webcam stream. Posts would have between 150 to 300 words on average.

$2 per article @ 250 words sounds about right.
