but seriously, i dont see anything wrong with eating horse meat. it's tasty and quite lean compared to beef

but of course people should be able to make their own decision instead of having it smuggled in their food

Yep but Aldi and Lidl are pretty much eurowide.
I dont think it the fact that its horse, it's that where did it come from, was it safe to eat.

Personally I dont give a shit as I never eat processed food with meat in. All my beef comes from my neighbour, I walk past the cows everyday and they are some healthy, happy fuckers, even today when it's snowing, they're out in the field chewing away on some broccoli plants I chucked over the hedge at them.

This weekend the horse meat was at 20% Discount at the market... Heee Haaaa ;)

The thing I don't understand is that they are saying its not a health issue - Horse is good for you.....

The thing is if they cant tell you what species is in their food how can they say it is OK to eat. It could be fucking road kill.
