It's too hard to get affiliates I think. I had a 3d(toon) site and I had updates everyday, so I thought it would be easy to get new affiliates because I had so much content with daily updates. Couldn't get anyone to promote it.

Also, there's lots of hentai in tubes for free, even too much (some have it in top page), you can explain it by the fact 30% of tube viewers is under 18, and under 18 guys do not buy.
