You think many people buy ferrari on a lease? I would think more than half of them are paid for in cash

There are a lot of Porsche owners that lease. I don't know of a single Lamborghini or Ferrari owner that does.

Choopa_Pardo 02-12-2013 07:14 AM

I've got to give the owner credit for hooning a million dollar hypercar on a shit dirt road.

crockett 02-12-2013 07:17 AM

Great example of a Redneck winning the lottery.. Don't worry it will get repossessed in 6 months after he is all out of cash..

I don't know about that, there are quite a few wealthy farmers out there. Land ain't cheap, and quite often these guys sit on it, until some developer comes along and offers a boat load of money to sell. Since most of the land is already paid for, its excess to them. Old school farmers may not buy an Enzo, but their offspring might.

probably because Porsches are more daily drivers (besides GT2, GT3 etc) and the others are more collectors items?

I think it's more about the price of admission. Porsche makes a wide variety of offerings so they can get product into the hands of a lot larger group. Ferrari makes 2-3 models that start at $250k and go up. Lamborghini does the same.

G-Unit01 02-12-2013 08:02 AM

Insane driving!

LOL @ the reg :1orglaugh

ottopottomouse 02-12-2013 08:09 AM

It's only a bit of mud on concrete farm tracks.

lol it was a Joke, I suspect that was probably some Top Gear stunt or something.

true

but Porsche turned mainly into a SUV manufacturer by now anyways

but no one seems to mind, people buy and they grow

Aidoru 02-12-2013 08:49 AM

That thing is gonna need a tune up after he's done

PR_Dave 02-12-2013 09:11 AM

I don't see why you wouldn't drive the absolute shit out of it after stealing it and storing it on your farm.

Lykos 02-12-2013 09:13 AM

Man it hurts me when i see how they drive it :)

I'd say a huge number are financed - especially over there. Check out how many came onto the market when the GFC debacle started. Also a good portion of the multi million dollar luxury yachts are financed too.

Hehe love that the elitism of car owners knows no bounds. :thumbsup

In Aus it tracks all the way down to run of the mill cars - holden commodore SS versus the HSV Clubsport - HSV owners think of themselves > than SS owners and they are essentially the same car with different styles.

mineistaken 02-12-2013 02:37 PM

I do not drive like that, but whats so special? If it was some bmw m3 would you even post it? Its nothing much. Of course its ferrari but he probably has the money. Or maybe its rented for a day, lol.

Ps: I am sure he knows that road well.

johnnyloadproductions 02-12-2013 03:16 PM

When the time comes, the super car that I will get is a corvette zr1. All the performance without the anxiety and other problems that are plagued with italian sport cars.

Fuck that! The way he drives it is the ONLY way to drive it. No point in not terrifying the shit of yourself if you have one of those! :winkwink: Otherwise you might as well just buy yourself an M3 if you just want to go kinda fast. Half the thrill is thinking that you don't want to wreck such a beauty! lol

I am pretty sure most of ferrari owners buy it not because of its power but because of its image.
Also I am pretty sure most of them do not want to push that "thrill of wrecking it".

yeah I caught that. so I think it must be String Emil, he owns a farm in Germany right? and he has a thing for red cars and high performance cars? he's a member of this forum, so maybe he can drop in, if it isn't him, it's got to be someone he knows :winkwink:

are we talking about the Ferrari or the RR?

The Ferrari has just one plate saying "TAXTHRICH" - which is amusing but for sure not german. I think all over Europe you need to have a front plate too.

The RR has European plates but one white and one yellow - which is France or Netherlands or something like that

EliteWebmaster 02-13-2013 08:29 AM

I have mad respect for the driver of the Enzo. It's not hard for the Enzo to lose control on a big patch of road but this driver was very skilled in maintaining control on a very thin road along with the road being muddy, so the driver was definitely very skilled.

Unlike this douchebag I know below. Yes, I personally know the guy as he lived two houses away from me back when I was living in Calgary. He owns a ferrari/Lambo dealership and believe it or not, at the time of this wipeout which he was the driver, he had a official Ferrari stunt driver teacher "coaching" him sitting in the passenger seat at the time of him taking a dip in the lake LOL. Cocky little East Indian guy too who made his money owning those "Pawnshop superstores" in Calgary and "Check Cashing Money Places". Lesson here is East Indian and Ferrari don't mix LOL :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh By the way, he had to write off the Enzo completely after it was all said and done :)

RR white would be Germany right?

now watched video again, it's a yellow rear plate on the Enzo means France or Netherlands? when it's spinning you can see it at 1:35

people from those countries can advise for sure

The RR is for sure not Germany like i said

Agreed, he had a big patch of road and a Ferrari instructor beside him and he still wipes out into the ocean. There was a Gallardo ahead of him and they had no issues. Out of the 27 super cars on that same touring track, his was the only one that ended up in the lake :1orglaugh Like I said, a real douche with his ponytail. Michael Schumacher he is not, more like Ralf Schumacher :1orglaugh

UK possible? Since its English text on the plate. When I visit UK I see many yellow plates, not sure why do they have some white and some yellow.

Eric Clapton and Nick Mason (Pink Floyd) own Enzo's and keep 'em in GB, would it be legal not to have the RHS?
