Picking up the woman at 7, then going to go to the restaurant where we had our first date this real nice Italian place not too far from us and I got her exotic flowers (not a roses guy thats what they all expect). Should be a good evening together

I'll drink red wine with my wife and I hope that children will go sleep early... :)

Roses, fancy dinner, hard sex, the usual.

Plans for Valentine's day :) :

Buying my right hand some chocolates then getting it drunk.

I thought about taking both of them out, but if one runs over the time allocated then the other one is going to be pissed.

I think I'll have them pick a number between 1-10 and taking that one out. I just want to be fair.

Donna and I had our first date on Valentine's day, and our daughter's middle name is Valentine. It's like fucking Christmas all over again. I finished our shopping this weekend.

Why people feel the need to do anything they wouldn't normally do on this particular day is beyond me...

I set the precedents on our first valentines day by letting her its more romantic if I cook a special dinner for her. So I've done this every year. Pain in the ass to go out in NYC on any of these holidays, valentines, mothers day etc...

Only reason I do something because otherwise my girl may be upset. They love this fake day. And if I do not have a GF I even do not notice its fakelentine.

If you were smart you would allocate 1-2 hours time bumper between these 2 dates.

You don't get the idea of doing things one doesn't do every day at regular intervals such as holiday celebrations or irregular intervals such as vacations? I personally have nothing planned on Valentine's Day other than working myself, but I just think it's silly to feign ignorance of common social customs just to be a contrarian.

I live with one, maybe I'll make dinner at home with that one, and take the other one out for brunch.

Then text the other one respectively while I'm with the other.

I wasn't talking about other holidays or vacations though. Only this particular idiotic day.

Showing your love for someone, because you "have" to.

How about you show your love all year round and because you feel that way, and not because you are being told you have to...

Its not a normal holiday, its fake commercial day, there is the difference.

It's not a commercial day, it's an extortion day: it uses to social link that you have with someone to push you to give her something.
If you decide to skip this gift, someone could thing that she is not important for you, while the society is watching what you are doing.
"Boo... be ashamed, you are selfish..."
So you play the game even if you think it's commercial and not a matter of love.
