Warning if you use Paxum and Renew The Card

My card expired and we got the new card in the mail and got it activated. Went to go withdraw money and I thought i missed the pin. Tried one more time and the card locks. Go back and put in a ticket and they told me they you have to set up new pins everytime you get a new card. I guess I am just too use to real bank cards as pins carry from card to card. So aked when the account would be unlocked and geta reply we don't know but its typically 3 days. Here we are 6 days later and my account still don't work and no one knows when it will come back on so my 2400 bucks sits on the card and waves at me a bit more :/ Anyone else had thier card locked and if so how long did it take to unlock? 6 days already is a bit retarded. I am sure I am not the only one this happened to you think they would put a note in thier saying to reset the pin.

Did paxum inform you to change your pin?

as per our conversation on icq - when a card gets locked it is done by the bank. We can not control how long they take. Also be aware that the bank does not work on the weekend.

When I hear more you will be the first to know as I always have with your issues in the past.

nope thats just it. I guess you are suspose to have special psychic powers to know to change the pin when you get a renewed card. A one line sentence with the card could have solved the issue but i guess its easier dealing with locked cards.

Just so you are aware - it does state on the paper that you would need to login and change your pin number and the current pin number is the last 4 digits of the new card.

If you would take a look at your icq and answer me ill be more than happy to have support reach out to the bank again for you.

When i first got the card it would not activate threw their system. I did follow the instructions. Put a ticket in for that and it worked at that point. Following instructions to activate a card we indeed did but i dont remember seeinga step in their that said you need to reset the pin to use it. So yeah i assumed it would be the origional pin. You know what happenes when you assume :) Telling someone you dont know when the card is unlocked to me shows you got no control and thats a red flag. I lock my local bank card and i get onthe phone and by the time i get off it works.

like Chris said... you just need to read the paper that comes with the new card

Captain Obvious says: Paxum should use colored warning stickers on the card.
