However i have heard many a horror story about godaddy other than this. Yeah use them at your peril, the only reason i still have some domains with them is because, you know, they have been there for years and i am lazy. |

I wanna transfer few of my own domains to namecheap also. I heard that they are best. But since i never transfered domain i was wondering how this procedure goes. I have my domains on godaddy for few months before renewal. If i transfer them now on namecheap what do i pay and does transfer goes now or when they need to expire and when is my next payment. On expiration this year, or on expiration next year or on date when i transfered my domains?

All our domains are on godaddy - namecheap seem to be everyones fav here.

Go Daddy has a serous security issue, they ONLY require the last four digits of a credit card and that information is found on just about any receipt. I wont use them because their security is so crap. Somehow my father (who has the same name) got access to my domain names. I was pissed!

i love namecheap as well... they're great.. and just as the name suggests.. cheap. Make sure you do a google on "namecheap coupons" before you register domains though because you can always pick up coupons that you can use to save a few bucks if you're buying a bunch or transferring some over

name.com my best by the way
If you have 3 or 4k names, there are a lot better specialist alternatives out there IMHO

Im moving all sites away from namecheap, $9.21 is not so cheap when you have more than 300 sites registered with them. I preffer lower prices to renew a .com Are there any domain providers who offer less than $8 to renew and transfer 300 domains?
Moniker is a nice one. Never had a problem with Godaddy, though.
namecheap and internet dot bs are great.
GD is to big and clumsy, best is Moniker hands down!!
To me namecheap is no 1
I use internet.bs and name cheap mostly.
:thumbsup for Namecheap. They give custom coupon codes for renew in bulk. Just need to ask.
