good for the History Channel but the United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations with a lot more evidence and resources at its disposal decided that the Kennedy assassination was indeed likely a conspiracy.

The United States House of Representatives Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) was established in 1976 to investigate the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, Jr. and the shooting of Alabama Governor George Wallace. The Committee investigated until 1978 and issued its final report, and concluded that Kennedy was very likely assassinated as a result of a conspiracy.

one thing is certain, Oswald was not working alone. he *may* have been the sole shooter.

i just watched the ABC news report on the House committee's findings - they absolutely decided that there was a second gunman.

Ok, and what was their evidence of a second gunman? since that was about 35 years ago with technology that doesn't come close to today's at their disposal, i'm sure their evidence wouldn't stand up against the proof being presented these days.

Oswald took a shot, for his own reasons, but clearly JFK was shot from behind. Who was behind him? A small army of people heavily armed with light machine guns. A Secret Service agent pulls out his Uzi, accidentally lets off a few rounds, hitting Kennedy in the back. It was an accident.

There was a cover up, but only to protect the Secret Service.
