Has Google's algo become completely dumb or is there something new I should know of in search results when googling images?

Try looking for "blow job" "clit", "pussy" or "sex" images, even without filtering... These results are... Well... Laughable :1orglaugh

G says that safe search is on by default now for those generic terms. If you want more explicit results, you have to be more descriptive with the search.. :2 cents:

Yea, its pretty brutal. ive always optimized all my sites to get the most out of google images traffic.

If their purpose is to prevent children from accidentally stumbling across nudity, not sure they should rank any result at all...

Googles image search is retarded now.. pretty sad when you have to goto yahoo to actually find a decent picture.

When people click on the image they won't even go to your website anymore like they used to.

I still getting enough images traffic on my sites in a Big "G" but on the other hand the search term is not that easy as the OP stated above.

Google is 99% useless. Back door trick - Set up a Wordpress site and fill the pages with PlugRush slugs.

Exactly and adult webmasters should show the power they collectively wield, by changing all their exit buttons that point to Google to something else like Bing or Yahoo.

I think it's sad that search engines are now totally jacking photos and bypassing our sites altogether to display them. Nowadays they don't even try to show you a glimpse of the site that's actually providing their users with images.
