Anyone ever heard about the $300 Trillion LIBOR Scandal?

Look it up. pretty wild stuff. I can see why the mainstream media isn't all over this one. To many connections.

yea been going on for some time

why everyone is connecting fathers with those shooting scandals with it

It would be covered more if it used a logical number. $300 trillion isn't even in existence in the world economy. So it looks more like a cooked up story for kooks rather than something legitimate.

"Libor underpins approximately $350 trillion in derivatives."

Stop spending all your time watching US news; this has been news for many months. Heads have been rolling for a while now.

MaDalton 02-19-2013 11:23 AM

it's been on the news over here all the time - even today

It's not like news of that ilk is hard to find, anywhere in the world. It's just a matter of having a professional or personal interest in knowing about that type of news.

I've known about this for months. I learned a longgggggg time ago our US news gave up on actual journalism years ago.

Was just curious why it seems to be such a little amount of people who have even heard of it before.

So I posted it :winkwink:

Missing the point.

He made the observation that is not mentioned in the *news*. It is not mentioned in any mainstream news here either. :2 cents:

So yes, it is interesting that a mainstream news source mentions it.

Exactly. I've known about this for a while, and I've kept checking different news stations, different online mainstream news sites, I can barely find anything aside from a very very small number of them... Its disturbing.

Well said. The fraudsters won't stop because they know the worst that will happen is the company pays a fine.
