How to check server speed

I want to make sure my sites are fast enough for the visitors. Are there any good services that can check website's speed? what are your recommendations?

Install the speedtest.net mini version on your server to see how fast it is from your location

Agrred - that or the speedtest mini. All the other tools test your DC connection peering with other DCs. What really matters is end-user connectivity.
