DeanCapture 02-26-2013 11:01 PM

transmit for general day to day stuff (small uploads/edits), or yummy ftp if uploading/downloading in bulk (its a bit better than transmit for that)

eipstudios 02-26-2013 11:15 PM

Thanks I need to upload huge folders in bulk I'll try yummy

acctman 02-27-2013 03:23 AM

Cute FTP for Mac.

candyflip 02-27-2013 06:23 AM

Transmit and sometimes Coda.

borked 02-27-2013 08:04 AM

What's wrong with the Finder?
Go->connect to server
ftp://ftp.server.com

My Fucking Traffic 02-27-2013 08:08 AM

I mount the servers right onto my system using Transmit and just drag and drop, all actions are done over SFTP.

eipstudios 02-27-2013 08:09 AM

Thanks everyone.

Sophie Delancey 02-27-2013 09:06 AM

Gotta love Cyberduck. Quack!

ClickCashEmily 02-27-2013 09:32 AM

FileZilla if you do not like the built in one.

This is the one a friend of mine uses... and swears by it. It's not free, however. It's a paid product exclusively for MAC, and it's relatively inexpensive at a mere $20 USD

I'm still using transmit version 3 on my Mac machines. Mostly these days I'm transferring from one server to another on the command line though.

AdultKing 02-27-2013 01:44 PM

I use Fetch on OS X when not using the command line.

eipstudios 02-28-2013 01:01 AM

The duck crashes Russian internet : ) I crashed the router in the Hotel uploading giant files. I was scolded by the IT guy that the internet was for light web surfing : ) filezilla works better here.

ncg 02-28-2013 03:06 AM

If you are after pure speed Interarchy is the best choice. Although it hasn't been updated since 2010 so I doubt it's being actively developed anymore so something else may have taken over.

facialfreak 02-28-2013 06:49 AM

+1 for CyberDuck :thumbsup

or Filezilla if you want a 'commander' style FTP client.

DamianJ 02-28-2013 07:00 AM

Transmit and command line.
