mediarevenue media revenue do not / will not pay
 

despite some individual anecdotes, mediarevenue do not/will not pay out money that is owed to their affiliates. (or the companies they represent)


They will not answer emails regardless of how many times you email them,
They will make promises, then ignore you, or then make more promises and go back on them as well.

But the long and short of it is :-

They do not/will not pay money out that they have admitted in writing that is owed.


To some this is very old news, but to others who are uncertain, you will have to repeatedly email/contact them incessantly, only to get sweet FA back most of the time.

(Yes i have been paid by them, but they will not pay all of the money owed to you, and it does not matter how many times you contact them they will not respond - the expression that includes the words "blood out of a stone" springs to mind)

You should try to see if AVN will do an investigation of Media Revenue to get to the bottom of this, and to make sure that it doesn't happen again to anyone else. :2 cents:

i had'nt read that,
i have seen other threads/posts,
they have paid me some money they owe me,
but they have stopped answering emails etc to them altogether now (for a while)
so i got sick of that and thought if anyone else is in doubt, then i would state my case
(which some may say is stating the obvious)
the posts on here say contact winston - pointless - he answered some of my emails , then he wont answer any more.

so stay well clear of them, if you are not going to get paid then its not worth the risk.


PS.
They are not the only company doing this, they seem to forget that its not their money,
and (one other specific company i am thinking of who owe me a lot of money) seem to think they are doing you a favour when they give you some of the money.

a letter to "cease and desist" is a double negative,
its a bit like saying "you must stop and stop" (????????????)
either they want you to cease, or they want you to desist,
or do they want you to cease desisting, or desist ceasing (i think that only happens when you are dead)
but to cease and desist obviously just means carry on as before.

Cease & Desist means to STOP as well as DISCONTINUE anything further, not just the one violation in question.
