Anyone else getting a shitload of stock spams?
 

Been receiving several per day for around a week now, all advertising the same shitty penny stock.

Yep, to nearly all my emails.

IIRC there was a big clamp down on pump & dump about 10 years ago, which is when it all suddenly stopped. Wondering if this is someone who thinks they're above the law, or it's something more sinister like a Joe Job.

I'm not a pro when it comes to reading stock prices but from a quick look on Yahoo finance the spam campaign seems to have done virtually nothing to the price.

Yeah, it worked back in the days. But today it doesn't have a big impact and it's useless to buy the advertised stocks.

Alot of people been playing the penny stocks lately. Just a small part of the price we pay for these crazy low interest rates. Pushing us all into gambling. Either straight up gambling or under the guise of penny stocks and day trading.
