I see this tube have edited a lot of videos that they host, removed the text in the right corner of who made / owns video. Like the casting vids from casting.xxx all vids i seen on their site have the text blanked out.

the text on videos called watermarks. and they have been doing this for long time.

So not legal then.. think its stupid they remove the watermarks.

They'll fall back on:

"It's our users doing this not us"

Maybe they have an agreement with the websites and the video is linked to a referral url?

I seen some of the videos where they removed the watermark they add their own on the left side..

We're in our own dispute with someone who started putting up our content. They removed our watermarks and replaced them with their own and see no problem with it and are saying "just dmca us, we don't care". We killed their affiliate account but now they're using our content to promote something unrelated. Asses.

A - Yeah, sales dropped so I'm sending to another program that does sell.

If I could put a name on them I would. One trip to xhamster shows the model of biz for them. Like all the tubes ignoring dmca or playing dmca whack a mole.

In the time it takes to post on GFY you can take off 20 movies. I use it almost everyday. The only thing easier is if the content wasn't stolen in the first place.

Who would be dumb enough to do that? You have direct information on who the affiliate is. As long as you are the exclusive owner of the content, and specifically state the content is only to promote your products it's a slam dunk to close an account or go after a domain. Not to mention unless it's bland or faceless content it makes little sense to use it to promote a non matching product.

Some of you people are interesting indeed, they got bunch of full length videos and You only upset because they removed your watermarks? funny...

Xhamster will digitally fingerprint your videos for free and you can choose what happens to them (delete, truncate) when someone uploads them.

I honestly don't believe they (xhamster) themselves are uploading videos, as their community is beyond huge. Perhaps they started out doing so but that site is a monster now and there is no need to upload anything when you have so many people doing it for you. If you read the blogs of some of the large uploaders they get really jacked out of shape when a lot of their videos get deleted. lol Poor fellas.
