How Many Blog Posts A Day On One Blog Is Too Many?
I have an old blog that died over a year ago when the host died. It had over 200 posts on it. Do you think I could get away with scheduling it as 2 posts per day on a new blog or would that be too much for Google?

5,000,000 would be a bit much

I think it is relative to what you are trying to do. look at sites like Huff Post or Techcrunch. They can make dozens of posts per day. The thing is to make them relative and unique. If you are just going to make 20 generic, kind of boring posts about a chick with big tits it might not do you much good, but if you made 20 unique, relative and interesting posts about 20 different big boob babes it could get you amazing results.
A lot of it also has to do with how competitive the keywords you want to work in are. If you are trying to get a high rank in google for something competitive you better update a lot of great content. If you are trying to get a good rank for some longtail keyword without much competition maybe once a week will work. |
If you are setting up 1-2 scheduled posts/day on a WP blog, using a ping plugin like Cbnet Ping Optimizer works well for that since the default WP ping function sucks and can mess up what you're doing.. :upsidedow
2/day is fine, btw. :winkwink: |
