In the 9th Inning of the World Baseball classic today, losing 9-3, Mexico's pitcher Arnold Leon deliberately beaned Canadian batter Rene Tosoni, resulting in a bench clearing brawl:



I say, give them hockey sticks and boxing gloves and let them have at it...more fun than watching baseball, eh.

Also ejected were Leon, Oliver Perez and Eduardo Arredondo of Mexico and Tosoni, Pete Orr and Jay Johnson of Canada.

Mexico finished its Pool D play at 1-2. Canada is 1-1 going into a game today against the United States.
Mexico could have just forfeited, if they didn't want to contest the game anymore. After two brush back pitches, and a warning from the ump, the pitcher deliberately beaned the batter. Totally uncalled for (and I'm guessing you've never been beaned before).

I wasn't saying pitcher didn't deliberately want to bean the guy. The mexican pitcher was just incompetent to miss him the first two times. Had he beaned him on the first pitch, it would not have lead to the brawl. However, he wasn't trying to hurt anyone, he just wanted to send a message. If he really wanted to hurt the canadian, he would have aimed higher at the head.

The real retards are the Canadians particularly that mohawk moron who tried to stomp on the mexican's player's head at 0:57 when the mexican was already on the ground and then he runs and hides like a pussy behind his team when the mexican player goes after him. That's classless as it gets especially when you are wearing cleats.
