I should've gotten a couple of extra batteries. It only flies for about 10 minutes before running out of juice. It has a camera that takes stills and vids. I haven't gotten to that yet but it has merit! Once I get better at it I am going to take it out to the plant and goof off, maybe harass some of the employees. :)

I bought one of those once. It came with a usb cable and simulator so you can try the controller on your pc first...

Needless to say, i'm awesome so i said fuck i don't need no gay simulator.

Total flight time < 30 seconds...

Then I bought a repair kit...

Then flew it another 30 seconds.

It's called a nano spycopter made by world tech toys.
So far it is flying nice. It trimmed out first try and I can hover it easily. Moving left to right is easy too. Going forward and backwards is tough. All of it at the same time.

Probably impossible!

This thing is nearly indestructible. I have had some impressive crashes and it just keeps on flying. I am working on the foot off the ground hover. It seems like when it gets to close to a ceiling it just wants to smack into it.

I bought a drone last week and having a blast with it..

DJI Phantom with a GoPro Hero3 cam...its amazinly easy to fly and huge fun..will soon add FPV TX with fat Shark goggles..:thumbsup

Reminds me of the time I bought an RC plane.

Came with a simulator and instructions with big bold "DO NOT FLY IN WINDY CONDITIONS"

Me being overly enthusiastic and knowing more than the makers, went for a fly.

Got it about 5 metres off the ground then landed perfectly on the nose. 3 hours later did the same thing and put the whle thing in the bin less the radio gear.

I've had one of these before and here's my tip for you

KEEP IT AWAY FROM THE BLINDS

It gets tangled in the cord string super easily and sucks to untangle.

Get some IMR batteries for it.. http://www.supertmanufacturing.com/batteries.html#aw these limn batteries hold a charge a-lot better than li-ion and they're safer to mess with

I don't know what that thing uses, but if it takes four AA try two 14500 IMR batteries and two dummy batteries... you'll be over volted a bit but I bet it'll be okay.. The 14500 are 3.7v vs regular AA batteries at 1.5v .. Get those and the thing will run all day

Well, it probably won't last as long (it'll probably die permanently sooner) since it'll be over volted and you'll be playing with it constantly.. but you'll enjoy it more. Provided that it doesn't just end up burning up right away. The IMR batteries are NEVER not good to have around, though, ever.
