How to write a tweet asking people to sign up for a site?

so I found a z-list celebrity who has a lot of twitter followers and I will pay him to tweet my site to his followers.

Any suggestions on what to write? Its not cheap, and I want them to join.
Ever done anything like this and have suggestions? How to get people to want ot click a link and to join?

its a free site to join, no money involved, but I want signups.
thanks

It has to be written in a way that makes it appear that the z-list celeb came across the site and is genuinely interested in your site as well. That will pique the interest of their followers. I say that you collaborate with the teeter and get them to write it in their own words. Otherwise it's going to look like an ad. What you ae looking for is an endorsement.

Agreed. Or as a question to his followers. like, "hey, anyone try this site???"

Exactly!. The models that do tweets for us, usually pick up on something obscure or relevant to themselves. It could be a comment on a piece of clothing that the model in the paysite is wearing and saying "Damn this is cute, but I think I'd look hotter in it" or something to that effect. Its things like that, that will get the followers to engage.

Can you have him join your site, do something special within the site that his followers would want to see, then they need to join your site in order to see whatever he did?

I believe you were doing something with dating. Maybe he could create a dating profile and ask for advice/tips from his followers. The catch would be that you need to set up the site so they can only view his profile by joining or providing an e-mail address.

Yeah, that's a much better direction. A testimonial and social proof which pre-suppose the guy joined the site because it was good... much much better that asking a question without guiding readers thoughts to visiting the site and joining it or giving it any value whatsoever.

That's better, the hashtag just gives them something other than your link to click on though, I'd drop that.
