I support mental health checks.

No guns for people with documented mental health problems or who are on prescription drugs for anything related to mental health.

I think it would be a step in the right direction.

I think everyone has to go thru a 4 weekend class or no permit. It would weed out the crazies big time.

Good question, probably not. I'm not an expert on this case but I believe PBBC paid experts to do studies on this exact subject.

It wont STOP mass shootings entirely, but if the background checks are thorough and intelligently applied then surely they will reduce or stop a few.

I think mental health checks will... and background check should find that however several shooting were kids taking guns from parents

it is very easy to get a bad mental health ticket. for instance you're getting a divorce, the ex says you are angry and threated her and the kids... bingo! mental health issue. ex wife sails off into the sunset with your money :2 cents:

thing is you never know if a ex boyfriend/girlfriend is going to run over their ex. there is no way to predict the future. anyone could snap they do in the military all the time. you see them banning weapons in the military? :helpme :1orglaugh :2 cents:
