I need to find an internet service provider for DSL or T-1 in Vegas-who can I call?earthlink does not serve the address I need-

I use Cox.

I'm interested in the same information.

I thought Cox was just cable?

Yes, but its still the best ive used here.

I use sprint for my DSL -
Im on the East side (henderson area)

My buddy uses coCKS cable modem , he is also in henderson but at an address that sprint doesnt service


Sprint is really good, although getting the initial setup complete will be like pulling out your teeth without meds

Yeah, my father is needing a line in his office for a computer, and every dayfor the past 2 weeks I have been trying to get their buts down there...grr

No fucking shit.

But when they did get it set up I have to give them their kudos.

They guaranteed 3.0 down where I live and then come to find out my side of the street goes to another router or station...anyway they couldn't promise the speed.

Well to make a long story short, they went and rewired a bunch of shit and got me set up anyway :thumbsup

I pretty much have a dedicated line running to my house now.:thumbsup

Goddamn how many webmasters actually live here in vegas? we may have to have a sin city webmaster party and bitch about sprints slow ass set up time

j/k, all of my friends who live in vegas swear up and down about the Cox cable service, its supposed to be reliable and fast..

I have had there cable modem and then a t-1 supplied by them at my office for about a year now,
and guess what
Im switching to XO because cox business services sucks.

seems like i had more problems with their t-1 than the cable service though so cable may be ok - although they blatently lie about the upstream on the cable service and couldnt provide what they sold me.
