Vikings on History Channel

It isn't as complex as Game of Thrones, but it is very well acted and for a simple script it moves at a good pace.
Worth watching, and all episodes are online for free via the history channel website...

No, she plays the boat. You have to ride her, beware of the waves!

Relentless 03-23-2013 05:55 PM

She is quite good in the role. A black belt who runs a few martial arts schools in real life, her fight scenes have a genuine feel to them

The Vikings are going to have a good team next year. It wont be so easy for the Packers in the division.

harvey 03-23-2013 09:56 PM

didn't watch it, but to be honest, I'm kinda fed up with "History" Channel. It went from being my favorite channel to the one I usually skip

In a day and age of DVRs why would you care about an individual channel and not just program it to record each show or series you might enjoy.

I do that, but I still like the feeling of "randomness", sitting in front of the TV and just browse channels. Besides, that's the only way you can discover new shows or movies you may like

Vikings is more medically accurate than House

Mindlessly channel surfing like it's still 1985 is NOT the only way you can discover new shows or movies. There are a million web sites, forums, entertainment shows and news sources that you can read about new shows and movies.

it's not the same. Obviously I read about something I might be interested and try to catch it, but when you have 200+ channels, you won't read about hundreds, probably thousands of shows. And even if it was the case, I can't spent the whole day trying to catch up with the so called "news", not to mention I might be interested in something old. For example, I loved "Work of Art", and never, ever, ever saw anything about it. Furthermore, in Latin America they had 2nd season before the first one. I accidentally landed on it and loved it. See what I mean?
