Mexico’s coastal regions have become bloodbaths of gang violence. 70,000 drug related murders have been reported along that region in the past seven years.

70,000 ?.. The US lost about 58,000 in Vietnam.

Can't even imagine how that many deaths is affecting the general population in that area. Kids growing up with that level of violence as normal way of life. Very sad.

That was pretty much my reaction as well.

I'd love to wake up to find the owners of various lockers and tubes showcased on some dead end street like that. But don't stop there, throw in some bankers, public officials, police, military, Jason Forrest and some others in our biz.

I can't ever imagine getting use to that sort of violence. Having that become part of my everyday life.

As long as drugs are illegal (which some should be), the war will always rage on. If El Chapo can take over all the other syndicates and have one united front, then maybe there will be less deaths, but the violence will never end.
