Stupid fucking windows
 

I just spent the last hour writing an article in ms word and the bloody thing has frozen.
I cannot even move the mouse, Ctrl alt and delete does nothing and closing the laptop lid doesn't help.

Any suggestions how I can save this work? Does ms word auto save?

What happens if you disconnect and reconnect the mouse?

what version of MS Word are you using? I have office 2013 and it autosaves drafts. I dont think 2007 or ealier did.

So you spent an hour writing a paper and did not save at any point and you are blaming windows.

Turning it off and then back on again did it.

Windows is great isn't it? Seems they do autosave for idiots.
