NON-BITCOIN THREAD! <> blog to c4sale?

I know C4S seems to have taken a dive in the last two years, to about 1/2 of sales, not for top producers and friends of owner, I realize, but for everyone else they are.*

My question, has anyone had success sending paysite style tour to C4S where ccBill landing would be (lots of amateur solos do this), or blog network traffic to C4S. When I say success, I mean < 1:2000 per clickthru?

C4S pros swear it is good traffic that makes revenue, just as any pay site, but that some consumers prefer to snack rather than commit.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

* I know the owner is a great guy, yada yada, I'm not doing it right, yada yada, new tools coming, yada yada. Go read stripperweb for a boots on the ground view. Oh, and also, "fetish is different", yada yada.

I believe it has been discussed a lot by barefootsies.
Your asking if using the clips4sale paysite builder is a good idea?

I believe it has been discussed that it does work and of course you have the ability to also sell the clips by them selves too.

From what I see and I use clips4sale I would say that you have to drive your own traffic to your clips. whatever way you choose, but using the clips4sale paysite model i would say is limiting as it has predefined look and some of it is a throwback to a few years ago, also you cant really get other webmasters to get you traffic and you would have to figure that other webmasters usually make the bulk of a paysites traffic.:2 cents:

I appreciate the answer - barefootsies is a fetish producer, pays a lot less for his content (he is the best for getting good content for like $100), and we know C4S is better for established fetishists.

I agree limiting other WM is bad - but some people swear that a large number of sales are lost because people like the C4S one-off model, and also they know they won't get ripped off or crossed.

What do you think about the blog network to C4S concept? Is anyone succeeding with that?

depends on what content you have to a certain degree.
I think clips 4 sale is good to have. you can offer both.
there are those that will like buying clips and those that wont.
but to say it is an issue of losing sales is not applicable.
example: I have had (lots of other store owners will too) people buy $100 worth a clips in day....

Honestly though your best off doing both if you can manage a clips store that you drive traffic to and a website that you can sell memberships to. encode your website url on all your clips so they know where to go if they want a monthly membership.

also do not take lightly what barefootsies has to say, he is one of those guys that just does it. Although I dont see him on boards to much anymore, he dispatched a lot of useful info. A few people listened most didn't. :2 cents:
