I'm pretty happy with the Galaxy S3 so far.

If you're going to be attending Phoenix Forum this week, I suggest you swing by the Paxum Meet Market table and drop your business card into our entry box. We'll be giving away a latest generation brand new Android Smartphone to one lucky random winner at the show! :thumbsup

I wouldn't mind getting something that can run android 4 for under $100 or thereabouts. Is that possible? I don't actually want to use it, but simply for testing some programming on. And yes, I know about the Android Development Kit, but it is useless for what I'm doing.

Sorry for mini thread jack - didn't really warrant a thread on its own..

both perfect thanks :thumbsup

french market being what it is, shit here costs an arm and a leg, but either a trip back to blighty will suffice or something on dodgy ebay.fr

livexxx 04-01-2013 02:44 PM

feel a HTC one first, all the software is pretty much the same on all these. So its down to the design an case, i prefer the aluminium to the plastic

I HIGHLY recommend the Motorola Razr Maxx HD, it's an AMAZING phone and the battery life is better than any other phone on the market. It's actually nice to go the whole day, using my phone heavily some days, and it still makes it through the day without a recharge.

RomanceNspice 04-01-2013 04:12 PM

The Galaxy S3 is the best phone I have had...I like it better than the iphone!!

seeandsee 04-01-2013 04:16 PM

Get s3 or s4

Jim_Gunn 04-01-2013 04:51 PM

Whatever you do don't get a Galaxy S model smartphone. The screens are terrible! They cannot display whites properly and have grayish cast to the display that ruins them for me.

Any of you Galaxy S 2 or 3 users that want a quick demo, look for me at the show and I'll hold my Evo 4G LTE side by side with your Galaxy S phone and ruin it for you!

Most people are not as picky as you, in fact I bet many of them did not even notice how the display was "terrible" ..

You are correct! That's why I take a certain pleasure in showing them the difference.

the latest:2 cents: ( all of them )

Caldo 04-02-2013 12:40 AM

Some new model from HTC and for sure you need to try Samsung s3 :thumbsup

wouter112 04-02-2013 01:39 AM

Samsung Galaxy S3! It has everything you need! Pretty solid as well, big screen so verry handy for email/internet. also prepared for NFC. If it breaks through.

I carry mine in the front pocket of my jeans every day. Go to the store and try it. It actually does fit, no problem.

...and it's the most kick ass phone out there!!:thumbsup:thumbsup

that was one of my most important demands too, ended up with an htc wildfire S. Hate huge screens, this fits in my pocket perfect without knowing it's there.
Other demand was a camera with flash (most small android phones dont have flash). Has it all.
Dropped it alot, twice it fell pretty hard and fell apart - just clicked the pieces back together & still works perfectly to this day.

candyflip 04-02-2013 08:33 AM

I like the S4, but Samsung build quality is crap. It's another plastic piece of junk.

The HTC One looks as nice as the iPhone hardware, maybe even nicer.

Biggie Smalls Web Writing 04-02-2013 08:44 AM

HTC One, you won't regret it
