Internet Guy 04-03-2013 06:59 PM

So you suddenly decided to buy some at $140, after spending weeks telling people they'd lose their money if they invested.

Sounds legit.

Markul 04-04-2013 12:28 AM

Why even buy them for real money at this point? Them seem pretty high to me, but wtf do I know.

seeandsee 04-04-2013 03:59 AM

Lol i did't buy any BC, just show you example...

actually a casino is not better than speculating btc atm.

most i can lose speculating btc is 100% of my investment. the most i can gain is unlimited.

most i can lose gambling is 100% of my investment, the most i can gain is determined by the odds of the game and is capped.

tony286 04-04-2013 04:45 AM

Got to be careful, it could be talked up to raise the price as high as possible and then they dump it. You are then holding nothing. At least a casino is regulated so they cant. Here you dont have that.

dyna mo 04-04-2013 04:51 AM

casinos are regulated such that the odds favor the house.

Zeiss 04-04-2013 04:56 AM

there's plenty of information around the internet to learn about btc.

nevertheless, you've advised *investing* at a casino where the odds are stacked against you and in favor of the house, all guaranteed by government regulations as compared to speculating btc which does not have government support stacking the system against the speculator.

wehateporn 04-04-2013 05:25 AM

Nothing to worry about, it was because Bitcoin got hacked :2 cents:

the amount of money you need to spend to get the equipment to mine combined with the ever increasing time it takes to mine a coin makes it not really worth it. unless you already have this stuff sitting around, you're better off just buying it if you want some.

No the massive and distributed amount of binaries running open source C++ are what say that.

Cystomatic 04-04-2013 07:52 AM

no, that's not it.

the *it* i am pointing out is speculative investing in btc is no different that speculative inveting in anything. it makes no sense to count your winnings/loses multiple times daily then go on a message board and advices others to *invest* in gambling instead.

and i'm not aware of any hype building, i try to keep on that, feel free to post a link or 2 and i will follow-up on it. :thumbsup

mineistaken 04-07-2013 04:02 PM

You are not aware of a hype when you see something going up in price that fast? :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

why are you trying to make this about me? news flash, i'm pretty up to date on this, i've even replied to questions of your's trying to point you to up-to-date and accurate information on this and i can tell you factually this is not trending like it was last week.

i am happy to make this about you. your choice.

dyna mo 04-07-2013 04:21 PM

here's the 7 day goog news trend

http://www.google.com/trends/explore...y%207-d&cmpt=q

it's completely fallen off, yet the price has increased significantly

vs exchanged, especially today

mineistaken 04-07-2013 04:27 PM

Hype does not necessary equal trends, those buyers were already "hyped" or "trended" so even if trends slow down the hype still may go on because of previously hyped buyers. And on top of that new buyers chime in because its still trending (does not matter if its trending less than days or weeks ago etc, because it is still trrenidng and new buyers notice bitcoin, while old buyers still do not jump ship).

dyna mo 04-07-2013 04:30 PM

again, i requested some links on your information. i've provided links.

I sold when it got to $50, I quadrupled my money in less than 2 months and knew it wasn't going to last, so I pulled out.
