How do I get my contact info removed from google?
I registered a domain name through godaddy without paying extra for the private registration. Then one day I googled my phone number and one of the search results showed a whoismind.com with my phone number and contact info. I then went to godaddy and bought the private registration. The domain name is now anonymous and domainsbyproxy shows as the registrant, but my info still comes up on the google search.
Is there a way to contact google to have them to update their search results? |
Your data will always be available, if you have had a domain without privacy then the registrant information will always be out there.

On the whoismind.com page how does it show now?
If it shows the new details you might get lucky next time the page is updated in the Google DB. If someone was really trying they could still get the old page even then... Nothing you can do as far as I know.... Possibly linking to it from a page that gets botted a lot might move things along faster - I wouldn't hold your breathe though. |
On the whoismind website it now shows the domainsbyproxy as the registrant. It no longer has my info, but when I google my phone number it still shows up the way it did before I made it private(on google, not whoismind), with my name and contact info.
So will google eventually update it't database to correctly show domainsbyproxy info instead of my own? |
I don think you can remove it. I don't think theres no phone number or anything to call and have something removed.
Might be worth it to change your phone number, and just tell relatives that you were getting too many telemarketing calls or something so you switched numbers. |

that is the reality of the new world we live in :2 cents:
your grandkids and your mother in law and neighbors and schoolteachers of your neice will someday be able to see that you used to own a site called nakedpussylipsfuckedhard.com :1orglaugh good luck running for president or anything |
Just tell them you bought the website for a client if anyone ever asks.
|
Regardless of it being indexed by Google, there are several data sources that allow the viewing of domain historical details and ownership changes. The original registrant details will be there for perpetually

Another possibility to help is to become a spammer. I'm serious in a way. You spam false positives of the information you want to hide so that it floods out the real results. t makes it a needle in a haystack so to speak. Just construct a couple different spam messages with hits for your phone number, address, along with some other fake addresses and such and then pay a couple different people on fivrr to spam different versions of the messages.
You'd be surprised how well it usually works. No normal acquaintance is going to search 500 to 2,000 Google results and investigate them all individually. If someone says something just say "Yeah I don't know what that's all about. Someone must have got ahold of my address in some database and used it to spam that crap." :upsidedow Quote:

I got hit with this crap when a host suddenly started submitting my account information to ARIN without warning for the 8 IP addresses they leased me for a server. No notification or nothing. One day I decide to Google and up comes a private phone number. for a gay niche related domain. :1orglaugh A bunch of scraper sites scraped the IP data and started cross referencing them to the domains.

I think that's what I need. It would suck if I have to change my phone number over something so dumb. Thanks O MARINA and everybody else for your advice. |
I always use fake info for domain registrations. The shit about losing your domain if the registrant details are not correct are a load of bs. A valid email is all thats required imo
