Why is "sleeping" a banned word on xhamster?

I tried to use "sleeping" in a video description but hamster wouldn't allow it.

bean-aid 04-07-2013 08:51 PM

Weird. No idea, have they started to care?

My guess is the bank that processes sales to *premium* is cracking down.

Supz 04-07-2013 08:58 PM

your video probably wasn't pirated content.

Relentless 04-07-2013 09:05 PM

Sleeping implies a lack of legal consent, as does drunk, crazy, high, underage etc etc

I tried fucking with it a little more and found that just the current act of "sleeping" is not allowed. Slept, sleep, asleep were all perfectly fine....tell me again why I'm uploading here anyway?? ...their ratio is like a quarter million to one signup for Pete's snake. (that might be a good gay solo site "Pete's Snake.com" yes it's available I just checked)

SomeCreep 04-08-2013 01:51 AM

sleeping is illegal

:2 cents:
the same applies when you send your site for visa approval.

Barefootsies 04-08-2013 02:05 AM

It has to do with processing.

If you use a U.S. based merchant bank or processor, there are terms not allowed. This is one of many examples. If you use a EU based bank, it's a different ball game. It's not to say 'every' prohibited word is allowed, but they are not as strict. Keep in mind, this can vary based not only on MC/VISA, but the merchant bank or 3rd party processor. Each one has their own 'guidelines'.

In the end, it comes down to the region and your VISA/MC/merchant bank restrictions.

:2 cents:

Sleeping, drinking, gagging, and tentacles are among words that visa doesn't like.

it does but we all know no one is really sleeping in those videos or? Or to take it even further: if there was something illegal on that site they would have to take it down anyway.. so assuming it is all legal stuff they should allow searching for "sleeping" since it is fake anyway..

but yeah , I get it,they simply dont want to risk it..

arock10 04-08-2013 06:29 AM

Sleeping is rapey

Why 04-08-2013 09:50 AM

is this really a valid question?

someone that is sleeping can not give consent, no consent = rape. get it?

Dammit! I'm in trouble... :anon

CDSmith 04-08-2013 11:40 AM

I do find it odd though that it's fine for a Hollywood movie to include scenes of this, but magically it's somehow not okay if that same or similar scene is on the internet.

It's all acting. You know it, they know it, Visa knows it, yet it must be banned.

Don't get me started on "tentacles". The censorship is getting ridiculous again, that's all I'll say.

kristin 04-08-2013 12:14 PM

Word not allowed by processors.

nikki99 04-08-2013 12:25 PM

Hipnosis also not allowed

Awwwww... That's like the best fetish ever.

Although I'd probably just make a girl clean my house if I could hypnotize her.
