For those who want to start accepting Bitcoin for their online store check out Bitpay

I'm using them for a mainstream store and it's extremly easy to use and set up.
And the fees are incredibly low. You will be ready to accept payments 5 minutes after getting approved.
Daily payouts.

If you open a shop aimed at Bitcoin users and make an announcement post on Reddit and a few bitcoin forums you will see sales the first day!

You'd be amazed how many of the Bitcoin users are looking for stuff to buy with their coins.
There is really no excuse to not start taking advantage of this.

And the nice part is you can basically start selling ANYTHING. Simply because you are probably the first to offer a certain product to Bitcoin users. You can be the first in your niche.
What are the chances of something like this happening again?

Yeah, you're welcome.

I'm looking for the T&C's that prevent adult goods/services - can't find them but I assume that's the case?

Jel 04-15-2013 06:01 AM

ok found them, not sure if I'm just intrepeting it wrong, but my bold:

Quote:

2. relate to sales of (a) narcotics, steroids, certain controlled substances or other products that present a risk to consumer safety, (b) drug paraphernalia, (c) items that encourage, promote, facilitate or instruct others to engage in illegal activity, (d) items that promote hate, violence, racial intolerance, or the financial exploitation of a crime, (e) items that are considered obscene, (f) items that infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, right of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary right under the laws of any jurisdiction, (g) certain sexually oriented materials or services, or (h) ammunition, firearms, or certain firearm parts or accessories, or (i) ,certain weapons or knives regulated under applicable law
so obscenity, and 'certain' sexual material - I'd guess fake r*pe/inc*st would be in their list of 'certain' material, which means most stuff that eg visa would be ok with, is ok also?

Or am I way off the mark here?

I guess the only way to know for sure is to email and ask, so I have :)
