Justin Trudeau to be Canada's next Prime Minister?

should be the final stage as Canada transitions to communism with the US following suit soon after.

SilentKnight 04-14-2013 06:03 PM

At least he won't have to dodge the military draft like his old man did.

Justin guarantees another PC victory next election. :thumbsup

I guess anything that is not on the 'right' is communist?

Not center-right, not center, not center-left, not socialist ... but communist.

I see.

His dad was a closet communist. So if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

Not that he could or would impose full blown communism. He obviously wouldn't be able to. But still, someone with communist leanings or ideas can still be very damaging.

Only because he visited Russia .... doesn't mean he was a commie. He was accused of a lot and the FBI had been watching him for years but it doesn't mean much.

He was also accused of being a separatist and I believe he may have had strong feelings towards it when he was younger but never went in that direction.

there's absolutely nobody in Canadian politics who is on the right - all parties are on the left, the Conservative Party is left of all but the most liberal in the Democratic party in the US. If Obama attempted a single payer healthcare system and a top marginal personal income tax rate of 50% and a national sales(goods and services) tax there'd be a revolution.

socialism, communism - not much of a difference between them.

Not just because he visited Russia. He was interested in Marxist ideas in the 1940s and his Harvard dissertation was on the topic of Communism and Christianity. He a close friend and supporter of Fidel Castro who was a pallbearer at his funeral.

Sad when someone can get elected on his name alone.

I'm not a politic fan but my personnal opinion is that if you live in a country where:

1-) you pay more than 50% in taxes (when you make more than 50k in Quebec you pay more than 50% if you have a car and a house)

2-) you have free health care

3-) You have 'free' school

4-) Governement give you money if you don't have job

5-) Governement control distribution of product such alcool.

6-) list can goes on....

You live in a country closer to communist than capitalist.

Besides also being a moron Jimmy Carter was US president at the same time that Trudeau was prime minister of Canada so they knew each other quite well. Jimmy Carter also shares the same love for leftist dictators that Trudeau did.
