How Much Do the Markets Affect Our Biz?
There are some interesting bits in there. One i was drawn to is the trend away from splurge and borrow to save.
How does this affect the buying trends in consumers we rely on? I know Joe Blow may not read the article but maybe his boss and his bosses boss do. Thoughts? Are you a Bear or a Bull? http://www.marketwatch.com/story/9-d...?siteid=yhoof2 |
Everything affects our biz, even tax time.

The trend away from spend to save is the only way out of the mess we have created. Short term pain for long term gain!
I think you will see less people trying to join but an improvement in throughput because people have the funds to buy. "insufficient funds" has been the main reason for unsuccessful attempts to join for a long time now |
for us it's more about accounts and less about spending fluctuations
if the banking isn't there, nothing matters |
I agree with all of you guys. I just hope the "horny sector" picks up. The forecast for a possible decade of doldrums and perhaps even a crash this year make it a limp day for me. We work in tight niches and its a roller coaster for sales. I guess its always like that.
I've also been stressin about Boston. My daughter lives close to the route, no word from her yet. Have a call into her mom as well. And my guitar player finally got back to me. His teenage son was only a block away. I despise the whole thing that made today's "event" happen. Other than that, I'm a cheerful little squirrel. |
