A lot of people hate it. More people love it. But I don't know the proper way to eat it.

Very common in China. Every restaurant you go to serves it. The Chinese love it.

Had some in China town, was ok...

They are horrid and slimy - The Chinese love chewing on bones and cartilage - Yuk...

I like they are called 'paws' - Sounds cuter than 'claws' I suppose...

they make a great stock, get a really good jelly with them.

I buy chicken feet when I make broth. great flavor comes out of those scaly little things.

One thing I never had the urge to try

All of the collagen in them is supposed to be good for the skin. Like the wingtips. I think they're normally called feet though. "Paws" seems to be a marketing upchuck. As if they want to turn people off.

I've had chicken foot soup in Jamaica and it was OK ...

You don't really eat the feet, as there's not much to them ... they use them to make the broth.

Jamaicans don't believe in 'wasting' any part of the animal ... to just throw them out would be wasteful. :thumbsup

Chicken feet are amazing things, same as bone marrow and other types of offal.

The problem is, in 'mericuh we are taught that offal and other 'off cuts' of meat are no good for anything, anyone ever tried ox tail soup?

Liver and onions is also a great dish for a morning after a night of heavy drinking, steak and kidney pie (is a delicious dish from England) that used cow kidneys and steak in a thick gravy.

Another thing from England that I had before was blood sausage, made from the blood and fat of sheep, it sounds gross but fried up for breakfast with egg, bacon, beans, and tomato and toast it is really nice.

Never had chicken head but I tried curried comb (that part that is on top of a chickens head) was okay, didn't really taste of anything except the spices in the curry though.

If you have ever been the Philippines you can buy this stuff (still attached to the head) deep fried in the skreet :)
