2much.net Vs modenacam.com
So I am trying to decide what is better for running a cam site. Does anyone have specific experiences with each of these? They both look like they have some different features that the other does not. One of my main concerns is quality, security, and stability. Which of these would you suggest? I am talking to each developer of course but I would like to hear from users.

heard 2much is a pain to deal with

Modena cam looks like a pretty good product, but we have been getting more and more customers lately who used to use it, but have since switched to us. If you like, I can give you a free demo to try our system out first. Would a 30 day trial be ok with you? Our brand new version will be released on April 26th so we can unlock all of the features of our new version too for your review. Let me know what you think. Quote:
If you mean our templates & code, yes it can be tricky for some webmasters to deal with at first. A good place to get a LiveCamNetwork site customized is http://www.zuzanadesigns.com. They've done some great work for us. |
If you can send me a message with your contact info we can discuss it. For some reason I lost all my posts so I can't message you. I have some questions beyond what I posted here for you.

I don't know anything about 2much, but I haven't heard good things from clients regarding modena. I heard is has no templating system to speak of and was buggy. How true this is I don't know - never used it myself.

I would go with system which support open source streaming, dont know does any of those two support it currently.

Great!! You can call me toll free at 1-866-892-5122 Ext #1, or skype me at "markfrom2much", or email me at ********** .at. 2much.net. Our contact info is also available at http://www.2much.net/contact.php Looking forward to working with you. |
I would contact both and ask them to show some site that really making money.... I know that buying a license is not a success story guarantee you gotta have the traffic and experience of it.... I guess you already promoting some site thru some WL etc...? If not you will probably send your money in the drain.

There's many cam softwares, do asearch for cam script or cam software in GFY you find dozen threads.

I am using modenacam now, its not perfect but it definitely runs. Complete lack of support for mobile browsers and apparently no rush to get that taken care of. Because of this I will most likely be moving to another platform as soon as I can find one.
I am currently looking at JamOnCam and putting the funds together to get started. I researched 2much and got as far as the part where they want a revshare % of your gross income and stopped being interested. |
2Much has been around since I think about the late 90s, early 2000s, they're still going strong, so I always go with the long term guys since you know they're doing at least the basic things right for you.

You made a mistake. We have 1 license that requires revenue share, and 4 other licenses that do not. I invite you to take another look at our products and consider at least take advantage of our free trial offer before making your final decision. |

So tell me: Have you been able to integrate with Nats? Are users with Android or iOS able to use camsites that run on 2much? |

http://camflare.com http://www.worldxcam.com http://www.musclegirlzlive.com/#page/1/filter/all Most cool of theirs I think is the live strip clubs: http://www.2001live.com/ http://www.monsvenus.com/ I checked, now they ask $14k total (7k setup fees + 7k after 40 days) for license "more than 5 online models" = unlimited, as below table: http://jamoncam.com/platform_prices.php With 7k (4.5k setup + 4.5k 40th day) they limit you to 5 online models max at same which is honestly not useful, so anyone dealing with them should consider 14k setup. Even if I can see 98% of new cam sites launched not even reach the 5 models online ever, but this is not because of software, of course - it is a business and marketing issue, that no any software can help. Independent cam sites need $100k's in marketing to start, it was discussed previously (do a search in gfy). Note: I work with jamoncam/eyepartner for custom things (hourly work), so I can confirm they are "real", have project management, developers, QA (testers), all is kept noted in dot project web app (your request, their notes etc., is like a forum with hours and tickets). I mean is not a single guy from bedroom who you deal with in just email and icq, and they do cost more than a single guy, definitely. About single (?) guys, a very smart one is the following, its unlimited solution is just $3k to $5k: http://www.softservice.org/contact.html http://www.softservice.org/products_...o_pricing.html I know people running cam site with his software and does ok. |
I've never dealt with modena so I can't comment but any time I've had any dealings with 2much on a business or personal lever have been fantastic. Great guys imo.
