Don't get your money from a local atm, bring your money and exchange it at "Dolar Blue" rate , if you do this. your money will worth almost double

Yes, bring USD dollars and change them for blue rate prices.
I was there in january. Official price: 1 USD = 4,2 pesos Blue Rate: 1 USD = 7,7 pesos The price goes up and down per day. I heard later is was even 1 USD = 10 pesos. Don't change all your money in one time. That is saver and the rates will go up and down a lot. Try to find appartment that advertises with pesos and not in dollars. And it is easy to walk around and see a lot of things. Just take a tourist map at the airport. In 3 days you must be able to see most things. If you are used to Brazilian Churrassco, most Argentinian Parrilla restaurants suck. |
