Hey Stones Fans In Los Angeles

Just saw that The Rolling Stones are playing a nightclub in L.A. tonight!

Would love to be there …..

"The Rolling Stones are performing a "surprise warm-up" show in Los Angeles on April 27, 2013. The announcement was made on April 27 on the official Rolling Stones Twitter account. Tickets for the show are $20 each, and will be distributed by lottery at the El Rey Theatre, beginning at 1 p.m. PDT on April 27. Ticket purchases are limited to one ticket per person and must be paid for in cash."

Edit; El Rey Theatre seating capacity 771

Yeah and for $20 but instantly sold out.

So far, El Rey is my favorite venue in LA.

As I understood it, it was a lottery drawing. And if you were one of the ones picked in the lottery THEN you could buy the ticket for $25 :)

I have a set of the magic $85 tickets for the MGM Grand here in Vegas on May 11th but seeing them in a small place like the El Rey would be freakin' awesome.

Obviously not the same to most people but I saw Billy Bragg there last month. He's a bit of music and political hero of mine and I was able to be in the front row on that small venue for $30. I wouldn't get anywhere near the stage at a UK venue if he played. Wonderful experience.

Yeah, at $20 they were gone before we heard about it.

Seeing them in a smaller place would in fact be awesome.... Small places bring out the best in bands.
