You'll know it's true when you see no less than three threads all stating "RIP whoever". |

But that 70 year old man rocked L.A. last night and is in the beginning of a world tour with The Rolling Stones. I'd say he's in better physical shape than most of the guys on GFY, and his partner in crime Mick Jagger is definitely in better cardio shape than most folks. Both 70 years old, both have done more drugs, alcohol, and whore-mongering than all of GFY put together. And yet, there they are. Not only alive...but more alive than any other 70 year olds out there. I'd much rather do cocaine than to be a prescription drug addict like most of America is now (pain pills, ambien, ritalin, etc.) But there was always a very good reason that some drugs are made "illegal": notice it's always the ones that grow naturally as plants. The big pharma companies can't really profit a bajillion dollars off of that...it has to be drugs that are made artificially so that they can make bank. And oh yeah: Go Keef! "Booze and pills and powders, you can choose your medicine" -lyrics from "Before They Make Me Run" by Keith Richards |
so he didn't die?

He is cool and alive:)

That dude has lived a life that all of us on this board combined could not imagine or match, and he'll probably outlive 25% of us. lol

Sometimes it's fun to get drunk at a cool nightclub partying with friends. Sometimes it's a lot of fun to cook out on the grill, go swimming in the pool, playing catch with my dog, and then end the day watching t.v. at home with no alcohol or drugs at all. People are more complicated than we like to generalize them as. Keith Richards slipped into heroin addiction for a few years. If you read his book "Life" he will be the first to tell you that addiction wasn't "fun". Pretty much you are no longer getting high when you are addicted to something. You are just feeling normal...and if you can't get what you are addicted to you feel horrible. But other than those 7 or 8 years during the 1970's, he's had one helluva lot of fun. Traveling the world. Huge homes in different places around the world. (he currently lives in a mansion on the beach down in the Caribbean). Fucked more women than all of us put together. His book is pretty insightful and shows the side of him we all know (wild and crazy) as well as his more "normal" side (as normal as it can get for a guy who has been a superstar since he was 18 years old) And yeah...he can party harder than almost any other human being alive when he wants to. lol |
I really loved seeing him in Pirates of the Carribean, perfect role for him
|
He's the #1 Rock N' Roll star and will be remembered 4ever. I hate these threads, what's the point of 'em??
