So what's a good color printer?
 

I have this ancient HP 2840 allinone color laser printer but i think the end is near.

We had to have a laserprinter to print barcodes for shipping, but
1. i am not sure if that is still a must
2. i guess in the past 8 years, color printers with cardridges have come a long way, no?


So, what is a good cheap (all in one) color printer? I've seen some nice ones for under 80 bux.

i cant even afford a black and white printer... :(

Last time I bought a printer I narrowed the choice down to 2. I then asked the salesman which one he would pick any why, he responded ... This one it's lighter and management makes us park at the end of the mall. :Oh crap

HP printers are very reliable and not to expensive

I need to know as well - Mine finally died last week - Even kicking and shouting at it doesn't work anymore - RIP.......

We were in Micro Center a little while back and my wife reminded me that her inkjet was screwing up. I jokingly told her that if they have one for 29.99 we can get it.

Well, we ended up with a little Canon inkjet that works just fine.

the line of Epsons sold via Apple store are pretty good

I'll never own an inkjet again. Grew weary of print heads drying out. Then HP made one with replaceable print heads. That thing was a disaster. HP colour lasers are perfect. I end up going through 2 operating systems before my laser printers come close to wearing out.

konica minolta has some very nice models.

Most printers suck. I haven't one that's lasted more than a few months. Just pick one and hope you get a few good prints from it before it mysteriously stops working one day.

I have an HP that I have used every day for over 3 years that cost $89 USD :2 cents:

go with color laser. they are cheap today.

For photos take an inkjet, for documents a laser.

I fucking hate every printer, they all suck big time

probably because you have used 'Epson' in the past. my life sucked with Epson.... no issues at all with HP

of course every of them was a budget printer, but they still sucked :D

My printer sucks so I'm no help here. It wasn't expensive but it goes through ink like no tomorrow!

Go to Costco, they have a nice selection , I just got the HP Office jet 6700, it has it's own email address, so if I want to print something off my phone, I can just email it to my printer. It has everything and I like that it's wireless

Thanks. Looks like i have to get a new color laser, unless i want to get disappointed about my printer dying in a few months;-)

My current color laser (paid ~1200$ then, same ~350 now) lasted LONG, over 8 years easily and we use it everyday. Its still woking, but i see quality of prints getting worse.
