RevShareCash is now iShareCash
 

Due to certain trademark issues, we have decided that it would be in our best interest to change our program name from RevShareCash to iShareCash . This change does not disrupt any of our current operations or our affiliates operations. The affiliate linking codes to our pay sites stay the same, as do partner IDs and passwords.

iShareCash will soon be releasing more sites, free hosted galleries and more, so please stay tuned :)

Why, because ibill owns the trademark to the word revshare? That's what I've heard, just wondering.

There is a problem with iBill's trademark-- They aren't enforcing it well enough. Revshare is a term that has come into common parlance in the industry. If they actually sued, a search on GFY for "Revshare" would have been enough to show they haven't managed due diligence.

The term revshare is so widely used in this industry that it never occured to us that it is trademarked.

It's a fact - the term 'revshare' is a trademark of iBill.

You're right, but we don't need any disputes or aggrevation.
iBill conatacted us and told us that we are in trademark breach.
We looked into it and since we are early in our program we decided that it's not worth the trouble.

We're busy trying to make money for us and our affiliates - no time to fight this.

Did anyone know that there are over 2000 trademark registrations on the term 'DOG' ? :winkwink:

We'll keep it as is, one change is more then enough. Unless the moderator of this board is able to just change the handle, without us needing to apply for a new acct.

As far as I know ARS doesn't own revsharehosting but I see your point. You can check the trademark for the term RevShare here UN PATENTS and TRADEMARKS

Yeah, I see where they do have it, but I doubt they'll hold it. Like the others pointed out, its usage is already quite diluted just on this board.

And, right, ARS doesn't own RevShareHosting. I really need more than one cup of coffee before posting! SAT.
