Btw I have 8 parents in my life. I have only lost 1 when I was 12 my first step mother died. She was 32.

She died of breast cancer. I remember visiting my fathers family and he never was there. I'm his only child that doesn't keep in touch now.

Its not that I dont want to see my father. We actually had a stint when I got married. I invited him to my wedding cause my sister hosted it and my father lived in the town... so... he got on the guest list. My stepfather walked me down the isle .

and then we had Christmas and my kids were showered in gifts and it was just so awkward. Step mother (E.T) was determined to be our family.

Step forward 5 yrs... daddy dear is in jail for assault and divorced once more.

My father is not a poor man. He has actually been very prosperous. And well off. My mother took nothing from him... other than a bullet to his leg... his grandmother said she should have shot higher.
