Almost nobody is compiling the software from source, even less people are reading the code (is there any evidence a single person has?), and who'd have a clue what to look for anyway?

But in this simpleton's world, no 'open source' software can possibly have holes, flaws or general badware within it. Why? Because it's open source! It's written by Pixies with magic happy fairy dust.
