Want to help a charity today? Help me with the fight against HIV/AIDS
Hi everyone,
Thanks for taking a minute of your time. I am riding to end AIDS and I'm participating in the AIDS Lifecycle in June. It's a 7 day 545 mile bike ride from San Francisco to LA. It's meant to bring awareness as well as raise funds for 2 amazing organizations. The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center and the San Francisco AIDS foundation. Both are doing fantastic work and you can take a look at the links below to see how your donations make a difference. I have to admit I am sad that their site only allows me to donate a flat amount. I was hoping to donate per mile so that you would have more incentive to finish the whole race! :thumbsup |

In all seriousness JMK has been training for this really hard and it has been a goal of his ever since he finished chemo. I will be an incredibly proud wife waiting at the finish line. He is an amazing human being that I am constantly in awe of daily ... Go Team Speedos!! |

But AHF really soured me to donating anything to anyone because of that Dick Wienstien who chills in a 3k+ square foot lavishly decorated office over looking the city and him using a lot of the money donated in his fight against the porn industry. Red Cross and have been receivers of my money after, because I see where it goes. No disrespect to your cause, hope you get the targeted donations and I hope they actually get to the people who need it most. If I'm wrong, please set me straight. Just Dave |
