Paysite sales dead ?
 

Last year is much better for me work more but results are suck much traffic good traffic google seo niche but suck looks like tube are destroy paysites not now yet but for 2-3 years :(

Piracy is definitely affecting us but I think what hurt me the most was changes by Google. Surprisingly after compiling my stats I found it wasn't as bad as I thought.

But I think Jel had a bigger spread whereas my ratios were comparatively shitty even back in 2007 when his were much better.

I'm convinced that CCBill has been batching some affiliate credits for transactions for many months. The patterns are just crazy. I don't know why or what exactly is going on but it's weird to have these lulls and then sudden surges in sales. So unless you are doing extreme volume I wouldn't put much stock in weekly or even monthly numbers as an affiliate since something seems to be going on.

Try something very unique or try to promote cam whitelabels and work on SEO.

Piracy, free porn, treating previous pay site customers like cunt-douches in the past with shitty members areas, fraudulent rebills, upsells/cross-sells and no easy way to cancel.

How are house sales, car sales, holiday sales and all other markets now in comparison to 2007? I think tubes have had an affect but I think people are spending a lot less now then 4 or 5 years ago. Good quality products are still doing well in the current market but I do agree things have changed a lot!

Exactly what I experienced till we are working on new sites.
Concentrate on unique and exclusive content in high quality and give the user a hassle free experience he can't get on other sites.

And cams for sure are the way to go for decent money... reorded cam shows on tubes? no thanks ;-)

It's all about the need. Is the need of the user changed? Is the need of the user filled in another way? Listen to the need! What does the customer wants? Of course there is still a need, but you have to fill in the need of the user in the best way.

1:667 combined average across every paysite for me this period and last period as an affiliate.

For me if something is consistently in the 1:3000 range with HQ traffic, I stop promoting it.

Been steady this year, certainly improved since January

Dead indeed. I have something like 10000:1 ratio, I'm sure there is still money there that can be made somehow but personally I gave it up, it's not worth my time.

Seems like maybe things are down at most 25% - that doesn't really explain it. And the world gdp is not down. Only US because we've grown poorer in the last few years, but haven't lost 50% of our purchasing power.
