I have no further info, but they have enough "money laundering" legislation on the books to attack whatever business they want without pulling the terrorism card.

yeah, it seems weird to me they would send out the emails but still have the funding option. i guess they'll still take my money, it's up to me to figure out how to cash it back out.

i guess we will be seeing a sell off asap.

So there must be some kind of judgement from court of law before any changes can be made, right? http://www.talkbitcoins.com/talk-bit...-accounts/405/

Looks like $1 is going to equal 100 BTC soon.

don't tease me like that! :thumbsup

helterskelter808 05-14-2013 04:29 PM

Didn't it get to around $70/1BTC a week or two ago? I doubt it will go even as far as that. People are selling but people are picking them up. LTC is down too, to about $2.60. It's probably not a bad time to buy either coin.

dyna mo 05-14-2013 04:35 PM

yeah, i missed that opp to buy a couple. i got goxxed.

dyna mo 05-14-2013 04:39 PM

i'm not like the day traders though, i'm keeping some ducats in to show support for the long haul of the experiment. or at least until the next super huge bubble.

you know what doesn't make sense though? why the dhs only targeted dwolla's link to gox. why just them? any thoughts? if it was an effort to stamp out btc, then it's very half-hearted. if that even.

It's more likely related to a specific crime.

Attempting a country wide ban would do nothing but force people to conduct business in jurisdictions that allow it.
