Has anybody ever seen a similar theme to this one thats responsive?

I don't see anything special about it, so don't know what is what you like, but making it responsive shouldn't be a hard task, it's a pretty simplistic theme

I'm not telling otherwise, just that I couldn't single any specific feature, so I assume there must be hundreds or even thousands responsive themes like that one

I really don't know why you don't consider it responsive... Maybe you should be more specific, otherwise, it's a pretty subjective thing.

only bugger I can see on making it responsive, is the logo is in the side bar, idealy you´d want the logo above the content then the sidebar content below the main content.

Although as the logo's in its own class, you can just absolute position it, then align the side bar content right for mobile, thus dropping it below the content.
