Are the Germans fat?
 

Damn, they eat 8 kilos of chocolate per yer, that's a lot - a chocolate bar every 4 days or so

i can eat a whole box of 50 a day

not fatter then the average american john doe , germans need the magic chocolate energy
to build all those porsches and mercedes that ur upper class loves so much

must be fat... i bought clothes from german catalogues, their smallest size is still too big for me(

I dont think they are fat, most Germans are really tall (I would know, they all make me feel like Thumbelina every time I go there) and their weight is in proportion with the height, I would describe them as big people but not as fat.

I´m not saying there are not fat Germans because of course there is fat people everywhere, but even the Germans on the fatter side of the scale are not crazy I-can´t-walk-cuz-I´m-too-fat fat, they just have huge beer bellies but still able to walk to the next beer or sausage fest ;)

I've been to Germany only once and I don't think they are crazy fat either, I would have moticed.

But germans are still much fatter than other europeans.

They are delightfully skinny and frail compared to the average American. By European standards they are pretty average regarding % body fat. But they are tall like the Scandinavians.

You can eat 10000cal per day and stay ok, but you need something to burn them out!
